The Support Analyst III has knowledge and experience with Data Power, MQ-Series, Message Broker and Intel Enterprise TokenBroker Technologies. This role acts as a Technical Lead for Projects and liaisons with business analysts, technical architects, and development team to create and implement new services.
.Deploy and troubleshoot Web 2.0 services including but not inclusive : SOAP Web Services, Restful Web Services, JSON/JSONx
.Establish operational KPIs, technical standards and best practices for implementation operation and monitoring of enterprise service bus infrastructures
.Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting service functionality and performance including hardware, communications and processing logic
.Escalation and resolution of issues regarding operational support of the middleware products and facilitate discussions between different competing business units within middleware products
.Deploy and troubleshoot service mediation flows using MultiProtocol Gateways, Web Service Proxies and XMLfirewalls
.Act in a technical lead capacity in projects to configure, troubleshoot and deploy new infrastructure within an ESB environment
.Create and maintain environment documentation including topology diagrams, configuration standards and processes and procedures.
.Oversees changes to the ESB environment with respect to risk and impact, scheduling and interdependencies.
.Assist IT Management with both technical and process roadmaps pursuing continuous improvement.
.Evaluate new technologies and services and assists in the decision and procurement process.
.Mentor team members and foster best practices, methodologies and behaviours
.Provides 3rd level support to IT and business partners, including afterhours on an on call rotating schedule.
.Minimum 10 to 15 years experience and a Bachelor's Degree (Technical/Business/Scientific)
.Strategic and operating level understanding of technologies including SOAP, JSON, LDAP, XML, XSLT, JMS and J2EE.
.Experience with agile development methods, processes and techniques.
.Strong verbal/written communications skills are required to work effectively with developers, operation support and other business units within IT
.Strong customer service orientation
.Experience with integration of multiple different systems
.Experience with custom application development and the Software Development Life Cycle.
.Familiar with the service-oriented architecture approach to developing software.
.Support and maintenance of an Enterprise Service Bus within the Enterprise
OTA knowledge a plus
.High level of availability for on-call and after hours work as required.
.Highly self-motivated and directed
