In this role as a Quality Assurance Supervisor you will be at the forefront of the Quality Assurance System and implementing policies and procedures as directed by management to ensure conformity with legal and corporate specifications and standards. As this Quality Assurance Supervisory you must have a relevant degree in Food Science and/or Nutrition with a minimum of 7 years experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and act on the totality of measures to achieve the hygiene and quality performance according to the company standards and local food legislation.
In charge of the in-house evaluation and verification system of quality performance to ensure that adequacy, accuracy, effectiveness and reliability are maintained.
Manage the Quality System which is documented in the Quality Manual, Quality System Procedure, Working Instruction and HACCP manual for maintaining the Hygiene and Quality Standards of products and service. Review and improve the system whenever necessary to maintain the effectiveness of the system for achieving customer satisfaction.
Plan on the quality and food safety managing measures and evaluation process for the airline catering and retail business of all operations in the local unit.
Review and upgrade the Quality System according to the development of new technology, methodology and business trends.
Report the major hygiene and quality issues identified through Internal Audit System to the management through holding regular quality meeting and recommend solutions to management.
Provide professional recommendations and instruction to hygiene and quality related matters, such as hygiene facilities, chemical application and pest control program etc…
Perform regular analysis and review on quality performance and take lead in the management of corrective action plans including problem solving on hygiene and quality related issues for
Continuous improvement on quality and food safety.
Monitor the hygiene and quality standard of vendors for high risk food raw materials by conducting vendor assessments.
Communicate with the respective departments for achieving the quality targets, indicating the trend of quality performance and identifying an action plan if necessary.
Maintain documentation system of quality reports.
Plan and conduct training in the area of hygiene and quality according to company requirements for the unit.
Monitor Quality Assurance staff to ensure compliance with Company Standards.
