Title: Office Manager – Total Safety Breathing Air Division
Status: Full Time
Location: Grande Prairie AB
Start Date: Open immediately
Reporting: Chad Wnuk - Art Stirrett

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office & staff and operations of regional Breathing air Operations
  • Report to regional managers on an ongoing basis
  • Compile monthly reporting and forward each month
  • Oversee Compliance with rates, and policies
  • Oversee a well maintained work force and adequate supply
  • Assist in forecasting capital needs and manpower breathing air operation
  • Oversee regional HSE policies for compliance with staff
  • Ensure timely invoicing, and employee attention detail on payroll
  • Maintain a healthy work environment
  • Assist and provide guidance for health and safety initiatives
  • Administering discipline policies when required
  • Ensuring everyone maintains compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Assisting with WCB claims and compliance or delegate to proper authority
  • Assist with ongoing HR strategies, Sales Strategies
  • Ensure Fleet and equipment is maintained and ready for work
  • Effective Office communication (Organized meetings, presentations, info transfer)
  • Some travel required in Field within regional area
  • Deal with field level staff on problem resolution, effect influence when required
  • Help meet goals and maintain the health of the company year over year
  • Promote overall company vision, health and safety of workers
  • Promote Meaningful Employment for workers at every level
  • Resolve problems at the employee and client level

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to solve problems and resolve recurring problems
  • Ability to interact well with personnel and clients
  • Ability to multi-task with little supervision
  • Ability to provide at all times constructive comments, within a team environment
  • Ability to bring a positive attitude to work and when interacting with Staff & Clients

Special Requirements:

  • Flexibility in scheduling and self-managed hours of work to accomplish goals, and deadlines.

General Schedule:

  • 5 and 2 or possible 10 and 4, with an on call portion, during some of your scheduled days.
  • Dates or times may fluctuate based on company and personal demands
