NATIONAL MANAGER BUILDING SERVICES

Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the National Manager is responsible for the management of building services for our different locations (which includes Pilot Plants) in Canada.
- Supervise the building services employees (across Canada); be responsible for the timely, fair and equitable treatment of the staff reporting to this position, including the evaluation of their performance;
-Manage the overall budget related to building services (maintenance & capitalization);
-Responsible for the energy efficiency projects;
-Develop and maintain the standards of the organization for responsiveness organization, cleanliness and operational efficiency.
-Examine and improve working procedures and internal controls for responsibilities incumbent to the group;
-Specifically for Pointe-Claire location: provide customer service and communication for staff on issues related to building services;
-Responsible for the application of the room/office assignment policy for buildings including common and shared spaces;
- Specifically for Pointe-Claire location: responsible for the negotiation and execution of local contracts; maintain liaison with different levels of municipal bodies & tenant leases;
-Bachelor degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 related years of experience in building management and customer service or an equivalent in training and experience;
-Strong supervisory experience in building management, with ability to develop, lead, mentor and motivate high-performing work teams;
-Excellent communication skills;
-Innovator & analytical proven skills;
-Proven record in budget management;
-Able to adapt to the constantly evolving demands and handle complex interactions and variables;
-Bilingual, both written and oral;
-Available to travel across Canada.
