The company’s regional office in Western Canada oversees ongoing sales and marketing activities taking place in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Alltech is looking for a Marketing Intern to assist with event planning, execution of marketing strategies, and communication with customers and producers. The intern will assist in daily activities including updating the customer database, making calls, organizing mailings, helping with event organization and shadowing the marketing coordinator at events and tradeshows. Alltech is looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire and interest to learn marketing and sales practices from a global and innovative perspective. Candidate should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be familiar with marketing techniques, possess good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication and writing skills and should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. This internship will provide the applicant with training on various marketing principles that will benefit future careers. Expected hours are between 5-15 hours per week depending on business needs.

b. Clients/customers can often be negative themselves. If you are able to maintain your positive attitude in conversations they will often be more willing to hear the message you are trying to relay. This will create greater success in plans and campaigns.
