Our products are made with pride in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and come with an industry leading customer satisfaction guarantee. We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Cost Analyst/Planner. Working in a production environment, this role requires “hands on” quality assurance and front-end cost planning, including cost control procedures; monitoring costs and collecting cost data to ensure conformity with top management budget directives.

Responsibilities:

  • Functions as a business support person to the plant and financial management team;
  • Accountable for all financial inputs into the project cost plan;
  • Able to accurately quantify, price and produce cost plans from concept design onward;
  • Set up production systems and system standards to improve processes;
  • Time studies production;
  • Plan production work flows;
  • Inspection/testing on products to assure quality assurance standards are met before shipments to customer;
  • Recording, tracking quality results/data/reports;
  • Understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform departments

Qualifications

  • 1 – 3 years in a cost accounting position in a manufacturing environment;
  • Exposure to manufacturing departments/staff/activities, cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis;
  • Education background in production planning or CET;
  • Proven Ability to support a cross-functional plant management team;
  • Proven ability to prioritize objectives and duties;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Sound planning and organizational skills;
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Ability to read plans/blueprints;
  • Hands on with a strong work ethic;
  • Training in Quality control;
  • ERP
  • Mechanical aptitude; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Salary

  • $40,000.00 to $52,000/per annum DOE
