The Position

Located at the corporate office in Ottawa, the IT Application Support Coordinator takes day to day direction from the IT Systems Improvement Specialist and works closely with users and the application vendor. The primary role of this position is to provide day to day support and maintenance for the client scheduling software system (Campana Systems/GoldCare application) including database administration, table set-up and maintenance, support tickets, performance monitoring, problem identification and user assistance. The application/database coordinator will be involved in testing upgrades and enhancements and will provide support and training for system changes and improvements. The successful candidate will also provide backup support in the IT department as needed.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate must come with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in application database administration along with post-secondary education/diploma in IT administration, database administration, networking systems, computer science or similar discipline. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures would be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using Microsoft Office software, a quick learner that can handle multiple priorities and are available evenings/weekends as required for support of critical activities and problem resolution.
