Assist Sales Representatives in lead generation and follow up by researching projects and bids on phone and internet; scheduling and/or facilitating meetings, and managing databases and calendars.
Solicit, identify, and negotiate new and repeat rental and sales business by phone.
Follow up and obtain status on all quotes, projects, and large bid awards.
Routinely touch existing and past customers via telephone or direct mail and update customer database.
Track project progress through spreadsheets and/or Call Mileage or other software.
Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads utilizing prospecting tools, internet, business directories, trade journals, Dodge reports etc.
Set up, track and attend Brown Bags, then follow up with attendees and solicit business.
Provide written quotes to customers and assist sales staff with quotes, thank you cards and line cards.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
