A great opportunity for someone just entering the the Machining Trade. Advanced Precision is a supporter of Apprenticeship and will support the right candidate through this process along with providing 4 yrs of on the job training, development and mentoring support. The role consists of creating quality parts produced on various machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines and general shop equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. Responsibilities will include reading and interpreting blueprints to determine production processes and requirements and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
Flexibility in working hours is a must. This position may require weekly shift work rotating from 7:00am to 3:30pm and from 3:30pm to Midnight depending on work load. Standard hours will be 8:00am to 4:30pm. Some manual machining knowledge is essential, preferably in a job shop environment. Hourly rate will be dependent on qualifications to a maximum of $16.50 per hour.
