We have an opening in our Coquitlam Branch for an Electric Forklift Specialist, reporting directly to the General Managers of Service Operations, Training and Sales. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the diagnosis and repair of electric powered materials handling equipment. This person will be expected to provide technical support, advice and training to other technicians, as well as take the lead on resolving complex electrical issues. This person would be a liaison between the factories that we represent and the mechanics at the local level. Decision making ability and leadership ability would also be central to this position.

Industry experience and specific related product knowledge will be considered a strong and desired benefit. This individual will have a strong understanding of our Aftermarket business along with prior management experience. The successful candidate must have superior PC skills with experience using MS Project, Word, Excel, Access and knowledge of the benefits of information technology and streamlining work processes. You will posses the ability to create and execute weekly plans, have strong technical skills, the willingness to face customer issues directly, a strong work ethic, exceptional people skills and the ability to listen to issues, understand both sides and resolve conflicts effectively. You must be extremely organized, able to multitask, cope with conflicting priorities and possess excellent communication and analytical skills. You are able to lead and control the course of a project from inception to completion, as well as monitor and follow up. We are looking for a results oriented leader, determined and goal focused with the drive for continued improvement.
