Provide business leaders across the organization with timely and accurate information on consumer behaviours, attitudes and preferences, the external environment in which Sears Canada operates and economic conditions affecting Canadian retail and the financial market place. The Customer and Marketing Information Analyst, supports and counsels on appropriate use of the information to assist business leaders in decision making and developing long-term strategic plans.
-Analyze consumer purchase behaviour through various tracking studies to identify and brand share, pricing trends, gaps and opportunities to Sears Canada.
-Conduct, analyze and report, Costumer Loyalty Index tracking studies to faciliate focused improvement in costumer satisfaction and Annual Incentive Plan/Contribution to Business Results.
-Provide market analysis by identifying primary trade area boudindaries, share of wallet and cosumer spend potential for proposed new store development and locations.
-Learn, use and guide usag of the All-Channel Spatial Interaction Model to optimize store location decisions and increase understanding of interactin and cannibalization across all channels.
-Compile and report Sears Canada sales performance, marketing initiatives, brand equity, and corporate image relative to the competition.
-Research, create and write the Environment for Retailing Report to highlight future trends and growth opportunities that support lon-range planning.
-Develop, compile and write reports highlighting economic conditions affecting the Canadian Marketplace and the impacts to the retail sector.
University Undergraduate degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Geospatial data management practices
Minimum of 1 year of experience ion data analysis and consumer behaviour analisis
Minimum of 6 months of exprience in Geospatial data management practices
