Our client, located in downtown Ottawa is seeking a bilingual Complaint Resolution Officer (reports to Inquires and Complaint Manager)
Review and resolve consumer and small business telecommunications complaints after interaction between the complainant and the service provider have failed to produce a satisfactory outcome.
Investigating complaints, communicating (orally and in writing) with the parties involve in the dispute and attempting to “mediate” a successful resolution.
The successful candidate must have experience with the resolution of complaints and be customer-oriented with excellent oral and written skills in both official languages.
Must be diplomatic and unbiased in their approach, possess excellent judgment, analytical skills, be persuasive and have the ability to multitask and work on different files simultaneously.
Must be flexible and willing to take on new tasks in a constantly changing environment and have the ability to work in a dynamic team setting.
Knowledge of the consumer issues that arise in the telecommunication industry would be considered an asset.
$42,000 (6-month contract with possible extension)
