Client Service Rep, Bilingual (6 month contract)

The Advisor Service Centre (ASC) is an in-bound call centre responding to calls from investment professionals and individual investors in the Canadian mutual fund industry. Our goal is to support Canadian investment professionals as they endeavor to prepare their clients for retirement and other significant life goals which demand focused financial management.
The Client Services Rep responds to requests and questions from brokers/ dealers, their administrative support partners and individual investors. The objective of the Client Services Rep is to effectively meet all client service requirements in a courteous and professional manner by providing accurate information.
Dedicated trainers will provide classroom and hands-on training to ensure on-going success in your role at Fidelity.
Responds to account, product and general service inquiries from existing and prospective clients via the telephone.
Understands client needs and responds with a superior level of customer service
Identifies opportunities to provide value added service to our clients
Partner with other internal business groups to resolve account concerns and inquiries.
The call centre is open Monday to Friday shifts from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Applicants must be available to work rotating shifts.
Education and Experience:
Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in a customer service role
Financial Services experience an asset
Skills and Knowledge:
Bilingual in English and French
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong customer service focus with effective listening and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
Ability to learn systems in a short period of time
