The What….

We are currently working on a Telecommunication Holiday Sales Assist Program and we're looking for sales savvy individuals to help increase sales for a well-known cellular phone provider.

Major Responsibilities

o Interact with consumers at specified retail location through intercepts with brochure explaining products and offerings
o Promote packages fully understanding handsets and complex rate plans. Close the sale
o All reps will be responsible for merchandising kiosk locations having full details of rate plans and brochure material
o Grow overall Sales within Electronics Merchant location through proper selling techniques
o Meet and exceed program objectives while effectively managing priorities
o Provide timely and accurate online reporting. Reporting of interactions / sales and competitive offerings
o Monitor and report on competitive activity.

Skills and Knowledge

o Related selling experience will be an asset with direct sales background a preference
o Technical Sales experience required (trainable) although this skill is an asset
o Client/customer service experience preferred. Retail sales background a definite asset
o Demonstrated success with achieving results
o Demonstrated ability to complete administrative work accurately and on time
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships through intercepts with retail customers
o Strong organizational skills and time management skills
o Must have the ability to work effectively with limited supervision
o Able to multi-task and problem solve with attention to detail
o Self-motivated; demonstrates high energy and enthusiasm

Canadidates must be available for the entire program

The When….

Start Date is: November 23, 24
November 30 & December 1
December 7, 8

Fridays: 5pm - 9m
Saturdays: 11am-6pm

  • Mandatory training session. Date TBC

The Qualifications….

o Light to moderate lifting to support in the set-up of equipment
o Previous experience in events and/or promotions an asset
o Sales experience an asset
o Must provide own transportation to/from meeting locations
o Related selling experience will be an asset
o Demonstrated ability to complete administrative work accurately and on time
o Able to multi-task and problem solve with attention to detail
o Self motivated; demonstrates high energy and enthusiasm
