CDI College in Winnipeg is actively looking for candidates to fill a new Full Time position of Assistant Dean of Nursing.
Reporting to the Corporate Dean of Nursing, you will act as the academic officer for the Practical Nursing program (PN) offered in Manitoba. As part of CDI College’s mission to change lives through education, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of the PN Program delivery and build continuous improvement tools to meet program objectives and meet regulatory requirements.
Your position of leadership will be used to empower all PN faculties in facilitating students’ learning and in inspiring them to become high caliber professionals. You will perform monthly program monitoring and will participate in curriculum revision, best practice development, program monitoring, quality assurance, audit and evaluation. You will collaborate with regulatory stakeholders and professional bodies to maintain compliance and remain abreast of any development that may affect the performance and relevance of the PN program.
- You are a Registered Nurse who has completed a Master degree in Nursing or in Education;
- You possess: At least 5 years of recent Nursing experience in various practice settings;
- 2 years in Education and 2 years of experience in Management;
- You are well informed about the organization of the Health care system in Manitoba and the regulations that support LPN practice in this province.
