Position: Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Location: Southeast Calgary, AB

Our Calgary office is looking for an energetic, extremely organized individual who likes to help others to fill the position of Administrative Assistant/Office Manager. Since its foundation in 1980, Alltech has grown at a rapid pace worldwide. So much so, that today Alltech is recognized as one of the top 10 animal health companies in the world, with 13 manufacturing facilities, over 3,000 employees and offices in 128 countries. Natural biotechnology and fermentation are the core technologies underlying Alltech’s business. This includes the development and manufacture of natural solutions to meet animal production demands.

Duties include, but not limited to:
-Executive Assistant to the Managing Director
-(mail, e-mail, calendars, reports, filing, travel arrangements)

-Primary support to territory sales force
-(mail, e-mail, calendars, reports, filing)

-Receptionist and customer service
-(answering phones, greeting visitors to office)

- Event promotion via phone calls to customers

- Maintaining up to date office records (filing and data entry)

- Maintain an efficient and orderly office

- Ordering and keeping track of office supplies

- Organize office operations and procedures

- Special projects (help with meetings, marketing projects)

Qualifications desired:
College degree/diploma or equivalent Administrative Assistant experience
- Energetic self-starter with a high level of motivation
- Excellent organization and follow up skills
- Very proactive and takes action when needed
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Excellent verbal, written and oral communications
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees and customers
- Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team
- Valid Driver's License

Computer skills:
-Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent typing skills
- Dictation/transcription skills
