POSITION: ACCOUNT MANAGER
REPORTS TO: BRANCH GENERAL MANAGER
NATURE OF POSITION:
The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring clients within his/her portfolio receive the service agreed to as stipulated in contract. The Account Manager will establish and nurture an ongoing productive relationship with the client’s representative, ensuring that lines of communication are established and continuously open. The Account Manager is expected to acquire an understanding of the clients business and operating processes in order to identify and/or recognize the client’s security requirements and, consequently, offer cost effective solutions to those needs.
The Account Manager must demonstrate professionalism in the management of accounts; to be an effective communicator, to be knowledgeable of security/risk management concepts and application processes, and to display a high level of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions with both the client and with other potential customers.

Deliver Quality Services
Ensure personnel deployed in positions/assignments with clients within their portfolio are licensed, trained and equipped to fulfill the conditions of the contract with the respective client and possess the individual competencies necessary to fulfill client expectations. Respond to client’s concerns/complaints and or suggestions in a timely, positive and responsible manner. Demonstrate a solid grasp of basic business principles and how the protection of assets is a cost benefit to any organization.
Manage Processes & Systems
Establish and maintain processes and systems that provide regular feedback on service satisfaction, that capture data on the clients service requirements and future growth plans and that records and categorizes complaints and concerns received from the client. Ensure invoices for work provided to the client are accurate and processes are in place to respond to the client’s request for changes in service requirement.
Demonstrate A Customer Service Focus
Ensure your clients are continuously kept informed of issues and situations affecting their organization or facility and maintain an on-going knowledge of the client’s expectations and unique needs. Be alert to new work potential from clients and within the community and respond effectively to those opportunities. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and concern in the manner in which client’s complaints/concerns are responded to.
Envision & Create the Future
Continuously seek and apply new ways to help the client increase the protection to assets and/or reduce costs by anticipating the clients future needs, by recognizing opportunities to maximize the use of security personnel, by looking beyond barriers/limitations of the present, and by inviting input and comments from peers and associates within the security community in the search for solutions to the vulnerabilities of the client’s assets.

Ensure all processes and activities undertaken to respond to the needs of our clients incorporate safety regulations and standards and our employees and those who receive our service are provided the necessary tools and knowledge to work and/or function in a safe manner. Promote respect and openness towards others and demonstrate no tolerance towards harassment/intimidation of or by employees.
Inspire & Lead
Seek opportunities to work with or provide support to the client’s representative in the search for approval for continued or increased security of the clients assets. Contribute positively to all activities where a teamwork approach to problem resolution is required.
Display a high level of competency and knowledge in the corporation’s business and enhance the corporate image through demonstrated professionalism while representing the company.
