This position will help make the mobile experience for Clio as awesome as our desktop browser experience. We°re looking for an iOS software architect. You°ll need to have shipped apps to the App Store -- of course -- and you°ll need to demonstrate an ability to work with cross-functional teams to help develop Clio°s mobile products, providing leadership where required. Ideally, you°ve °been there, done that° before and have the t-shirt to prove it.
You will: Work with our UI / UX Design Lead to develop Clio°s mobile interfaces Work with the rest of the mobile development team to bring Clio°s mobile interface to a wide variety of mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad and Android-based devices Provide mentorship to junior developers Work with the rest of the development team on developing well-defined APIs and interfaces for the mobile applications We need you to have: Experience with developing native mobile applications for iOS or Android Fantastic written and verbal communication skills A bachelor°s or higher degree in Computer Science Experience in developing HTML5 mobile applications Some familiarity or interest in Ruby on Rails applications Advanced knowledge of client side technologies such as such as Javascript We hope you have: Experience with HTML5/Javascript application platforms, such as PhoneGap or Sencha Touch Competence working with *nix operating system variants Knowledge of Agile development methods Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary Excellent medical benefits Awesome co-workers This position is full-time and is available to Canadian applicants.
