General Summary: The Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory control, purchasing, stock management, shipping, receiving, delivery, setup’s, dismantle and management of staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for minimizing costs, and to ensure that the appropriate product/equipment stock is available to support sales volume
  • Responsible to meet the expectations of our customers, vendors and staff with prompt and thorough responses to inquiries
  • Manages all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged equipment, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer and staff requirements are met in an efficient manner
  • Inventory control, including continual analysis of inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Inventory counts and maintenance of accurate physical inventories
  • Prepare purchase orders in a timely manner to maintain adequate inventory
  • Follow all current systems and procedures and recommend and implement changes to improve overall business operations
  • Efficiently manage and maintain warehouse space as well as quality control of warehouse

Accurate and timely preparation of reports regarding warehouse operations

  • Track and maintain non-stock inventory items
  • Responsible for scheduling and management of shipments
  • Manage and resolve all claims regarding incorrect delivery or damage
  • Facility management including maintaining a clean, well-organized warehouse and minor facility maintenance
  • General administrative duties including paperwork, data entry, filing, etc

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in warehouse management or related field
  • Certified Forklift operator is a must
  • Energetic, customer-service oriented team player who is willing to help where and when needed
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized multi-tasked who excels at inventory management and in handling shipping and receiving
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities while maintaining focus on staff and customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improve systems and procedures when needed
  • Computer literate, experienced MS Office user, experience with databases desirable
  • Able to lift/move up to 75-100 lbs
  • WHMIS and 1st Aid certification an asset
  • Willingness to perform all tasks required for a one–person warehouse operation
