Our client in the Shipping and Logistics industry is seeking a skilled sales professional to join their successful team.This role involves generating new business and therefore the rightful candidate must have a minimum of three years experience working within Business-to-Business (B2B) sales. This is a full time opportunity with one position located in the downtown core and the other in the Mississauga region.
Role and Responsibilities:
Exercising and implementing customer service and retention activities.
Updating and maintaining the customer database.
Generating new business and proper follow up activity.
Interacting with clients in regards to order placements.
Networking in order to build new business through campaigning, cold calling and lead generation.
Arranging a minimum of 5 client appointments daily.
Actively achieving sales quota through existing corporate accounts and prospecting.
Implementing new and effective marketing programs.
Assisting in account recovery by re-establishing local corporate customer relationships from dormant accounts, selling office value, identifying solutions nd providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree or related experience.
Minimum 3 years of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience.
Motivation for sales and territory management.
Education and Certifications
Minimum education required: College Diploma
Salary ranges from 35K - 45K based on experience plus commission.
