lay off then re hire
Bilingual Customer Service (Former Employee), toronto, onSeptember 5, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: everything you can imagine that can go wrong, goes wrong!
worst job ever

non professional management
poor training
favoritism
weird break schedule(can work up to 5 hours before 1st break)
short on staff resulting in irritation of customers and pressure on CSR having to lie to customers.
immorality- no one cares about what claimants have gone through or expecting,as long as you clock in and out, that is all – more... that matters.
Not afraid to fire someone who has worked for them for 10+ years just so they can hire someone whom they'll pay less. – less

Pros: subsidised
Cons: yes when i had dead lines
ENJOYED DOING MY WORK, HAD ACCOMPLISHED A LOT OF EXPRERIENCE, MANAGEMENT AND CO-WORKERS WERE EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY AND FUN LOVING.

March 11, 2013

Funny how you find the management and your co-workers 'excellent/friendly/fun-loving' when after applying thrice to the corporation for the associate underwriter's position, I haven't succeeded in receiving at least a rejection letter from them if not something in the form of an acknowledgement from the human resource department after I sent them an email. Definitely not a company I want to work with if this is how they treat people who are keen to be part of their labor pool.

Poor and Unprofessional Management in Direct Markets
Account Executive (Former Employee), Zurich Direct MarketsDecember 9, 2014
Pros: decent benefits
Cons: technology, step on everyone culture, front line management
If you want to feel job security and be treated with respect look elsewhere. The culture is one that requires you to constantly watch your 6. Made some great relationships with home office staff in Overland Park!

Overall my experiences have been good. I was able to learn the industry and set myself up for the next step in my career. Every day is different working on multiple accounts at once. Coworkers are great people and have become very good friends.

Total Loss Adjuster (Current Employee), Overland Park, KSOctober 24, 2014
Pros: company benefits
Cons: management
Never received any formal training on how to do my job. Was told that I would receive training however after being on the job for over 6 months have not received the training I was told that I would receive. Upper management has no idea about the claims process when it comes to total loss and the processing of titles. I have had numerous times where – more... the VP of claims wanted to by pass the procedures just to have the claim closed. – less
