Position: Full time- 40 hours
Salary: $27,000 Annually

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge or past experience with office administration.

The Receptionist and office assistant position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. The successful candidate must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the Finance and any Operations aspect. Must demonstrate the following personal attributes:

Job Duties:

  • Greet and assist visitors;
  • Answer incoming calls;
  • Place outgoing calls;
  • Direct calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism;
  • Perform other related duties as required;
  • Adhere to all data center policies and procedures;
  • Escalate technical and facilities issues appropriately;
  • Type correspondence, reports and other documents;
  • Maintain office files;
  • Open and distribute mail;
  • Take minutes at meetings;
  • Distribute minutes;
  • Be A Value To The Team -- However, Whenever, Wherever, Whatever (responsibilities will

change from time-to-time and because we are small and nimble, you will be asked to fulfill a
variety of roles and responsibilities).


  • University or College Diploma or an acceptable combination of education and progressively

responsible experience;

  • Experience in office environment and administrative tasks;
  • Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation;
  • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks

with minimal supervision;

  • High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion;
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures;
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential;
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility;
  • Previous experience in handling confidential or sensitive information; knowledge of

applicable data privacy laws;

  • General mathematical skills;
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory

control of these items;

  • Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases;
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills;
  • Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills;
  • Strong verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the executive team;
  • Strong customer service orientation;

Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office with focus on Excel spreadsheets and Word documents;
  • Outlook mail client;
  • Windows Operating System;
  • Web browser: Internet Explorer and Google Chrome;
  • Various other simple to use programs
