Merchandise Associate (Former Employee), Mississauga, ONJuly 27, 2015
Pros: Manager use to buy the team pizza as motivation of a job well done.
Cons: Not alot of hours.
I worked in the ladies department at Zellers Inc so a typical day was sorting, hanging, answering, responding to customer questions about sale items. I learned the vales of team work where I was able to work with fun, and smart co-workers to complete assigned tasks. The hardest part of the job was dealing with rude and impatient customers helping them find the product they want to purchase. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people and helping them find sale merchandise.

The people I worked with were rude
Stocker (Former Employee), Ajax, ONJuly 23, 2015
I worked with them for 3 months. The people there were rude, and the co-workers were not understanding, or patient with them. I learned how to pack, weigh different meats, cheeses, and slice meats for customers.

Easy going and enjoyable enviroment
Cashier (Former Employee), Surrey, BCJuly 18, 2015
Pros: Great family feeling, very positive enforcment
Cons: long hours, staying late, sometimes overly busy
I enjoyed working at Zellers on the fact that everyone from the management down to the cashiers and stock personal treated everyone like family. The potluck events were always fun and there was planned outings with other employees. Some days when it was really busy it got hard, having to stay an hour after closing to do returns because there was at least 10 buggies at the end of the night wasn't very fun. Still even for all the hard times there I enjoyed working there very much and would have loved to stay there if the store hadn't closed.
