This person will work with staff to maintain a current record of volunteer opportunities, complete with current duties and responsibilities, and coordinate an ongoing recruitment strategy. They will facilitate the matching of potential volunteers with an appropriate ministry and maintain a volunteer database. They will design, arrange and conduct ongoing orientation and training programs for volunteers and be a resource to staff on working with volunteers. They will also work with each ministry to ensure that excellent care, on-the-job coaching and adequate supervision is provided for each volunteer.
Program Coordinator - Stonewall, MB
YFC is looking to hire one Program Coordinator in Stonewall, MB. The Program Coordinator is directly responsible to the Director of YFC Stonewall. The Program Coordinator will advise the Director regarding the program needs of the community’s youth and participate in the recruitment and vision casting for volunteers for YFC. The Program Coordinator will supervise volunteers and equip them to effectively relate to youth. The successful candidate will be a committed Christian compatible with YFC’s mission and values.

Work Force operates a number of programs in partnership with a local church in the North End of Winnipeg. Often our youth need someone to continue to journey with them long term as they encounter life with its trials and joys. Presently we need a male to walk along side the boys. The year round ministry of Camp Cedarwood is a division of “Youth For Christ” which facilitates ministry retreats, youth group events, and outdoor educational experiences in our 31,450 sq. foot lodge and 35 acres of forest and lake front property.
Our site and facilities are located an hour and a half north east of Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are currently seeking to fill 2 positions in our kitchen.

YFC Winnipeg is looking for an experienced, highly organized individual who can assist the Executive Director in his daily schedule. This part-time position would involve scheduling appointments, correspondence preparation, clerical work and other such tasks.
