We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide leadership to a team of program and administration staff in community based services.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible to ensure the operations, management and service delivery functions of the agency are in compliance with its mission and financial objectives. Duties include the development of programs that are innovative, appropriate, and which strive to assist youth in improving their employability skills and in finding employment. The Executive Director will be responsible to establish positive working relationships with all key stakeholders including staff, the Board of Directors, our Funders, Employers and our Clients.
Qualifications include: post secondary education in business or social services or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum 5 years recent management experience; talent for leadership and teambuilding, community partnering, public speaking, financial management and fundraising; knowledge of government systems as it pertains to related programs, funding models and arrangements; with an understanding of employer and employee support services.
