Grounds Manager/Superintendent required for 18-hole golf course. The ideal applicant will have at least 2 years of direct Superintendent experience in addition to successful completion of various industry training courses. A combination of grounds experience and education from a recognized program may be considered for the right applicant.

The course was partially damaged by flood waters in 2011/2012 and has undergone Phase One of a major renovation to the back nine completed in November 2012. Phase Two will commence in spring of 2013 and includes installation of new irrigation, establishment of turf and restoration of bunkers and cart paths. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual, with comprehensive turf establishment and irrigation knowledge, to work with an industry-leading design firm to ensure playability of the golf course for years to come.
The successful candidate will be proficient in the following areas:
- Prairie turf grass management
- Broad knowledge in mixing and applying chemicals and fertilizers
- Able to identify and treat turf diseases
- Hiring, scheduling and management of grounds crew
- Preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment
- Operation, installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation system
- Mechanical aptitude
