Under the authority of the Market Planning Manager of Consumer Products, the Business Analyst will analyze pertinent information regarding sales, pricing, market trends, competitive activity and promotions to support the development of sales and marketing strategies.


  • Assist the Market Planning Manager of Consumer Products in making strategic business decisions
  • Research market situations to determine possible sales opportunities
  • Subject matter expert on customer programs and pricing
  • Develop data analysis and provide actionable recommendations
  • Prepare monthly reports


  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Experience with databases and reporting systems
  • Ability to develop pricing simulations
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Work independently
  • Ability to draw actionable conclusions
  • Efficient: produce significant output with minimum effort
  • Proactive: anticipate needs and act on them early
  • Work ethic: holds oneself to high standards of work quality
  • Highly organized and motivated


  • University Degree (BA or Higher) or College Degree with comparable work experience
  • Min 3 years of working experience as an analyst or comparable role
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Experience using Cognos data and SharePoint an asset
  • Knowledge of CRM tools an asset
  • Knowledge of tire industry an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French an asset
