YMCA of Sudbury is a charity dedicated to providing opportunities to individuals, families and communities for personal growth and service to others. We have been offering programs and services to the Greater Sudbury community since 1935! Today, we employ more than 70 full-time professionals and up to 250 part-time and seasonal staff. YMCA of Sudbury offers programs and services in five areas: Child Care, Camping Services, Health and Fitness, Employment Services and Newcomer Services.

We are currently looking for a Membership Services Representative to join our team. This is a part-time position within the Association and is housed at the YMCA of Sudbury Durham Street location. Under the leadership of the Manager of Membership Services, the Membership Services Representative is responsible for all membership data entry, financial payments, and course registration. In addition, Membership Services Representatives are often the initial point of contact in the YMCA. As such, they represent the organization as a whole, making the dissemination of accurate information and courteous service critical to the success of the YMCA.

Summary of Qualifications:
 Completion of high school diploma;
 Three months of reception and/or customer service and sales experience;
 Computer proficiency (Class and Microsoft Office preferred);
 Current CPR and First Aid/Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid training; and
 Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills.

Major Responsibilities:
 Provide a welcoming environment for members entering the facility as well as prompt and courteous services;
 Answer the telephone and redirect calls as required;
 Register members and public participants to courses;
 Maintain highest level of product knowledge and promote participation in YMCA programs;
 Keep informed of changes in facility and members information;
 Resolve concerns or problems for members personally or by redirecting to appropriate staff;
 Ensure that all confidential information is properly protected;
 Ensure brochures, schedules and forms are available for members at all times; and
 Other duties as assigned by the Association.
