We are looking for a committed, customer service oriented Systems Support Specialist to join our team and assist with support of our clients. This is an intermediate position with a mix of remote and on-site work. While contributing to our team’s objective of service excellence, you will experience a broad range of learning opportunities and challenges. You will also benefit from the mentoring and leadership provided by a team of IT veterans with over five decades of combined industry experience.
Provision of timely responses to client requests, and management of these requests in the ticketing system.
Configuration, deployment, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of client IT systems (hardware / software / operating system / network). Includes servers, routers / firewalls / network equipment, VOIP systems, thin clients, desktops / laptops, peripherals, and other hardware.
Analysis and documentation of client IT infrastructure, recommendation and implementation of best practices.

You will also have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
Minimum two to three years in a system administration role, providing full support for Wintel platform servers, networking, peripherals and other back-end infrastructure. Includes MS Windows Server 2008+ and Exchange 2010+.
Additional experience providing client-side (desktop) hardware and software support (Windows 7 and up).
Solid troubleshooting, problem solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Additional Beneficial Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of and experience with Cisco networking (particularly CLI) and / or Microsoft SQL.
Current MCSE / MCSA certification.
IT related degree, diploma, or certification(s).
Network diagramming experience.
As this position entails working with clients’ critical IT infrastructure, some work will need to be performed outside of regular business hours. Some participation in the scheduled Help Desk on-call rotation may also be required.
