Job Description: Part-time Product Specialist
Location: AB, BC, MB, ON, QC
Number of Positions: 70+
Reports to: Account Manager, Account Coordinator

Job Summary:
The main objective of a part-time Product Specialist is to actively sell LG product in a retail environment. The product specialist will become the voice of LG Electronics in the field, informing shoppers about the key benefits and features of LG product through in-store product demonstrations. Through actively demonstrating the LG product, the Product Specialist will increase LG in-store sales. The effective, successful Product Specialist is hardworking and enthusiastic and has the ability to easily connect with shoppers while maintaining a positive attitude.


  • Lead, participate-in and support LG’s in-field sales and marketing initiatives in designated retail locations
  • Contribute to the development of positive retail experiences and shopper relationships
  • Provide product knowledge on-site, to both shoppers and retail sales associates (RSA’s)
  • Promote and close sales of LG products
  • Create fun and engaging ways to interact with shoppers on the sales floor, within the rules an limitations of the retail environment and program expectations
  • Attend required training sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • Submit timely reports to management as outlined
  • Monitor competitor’s in-field performance and make recommendations for future initiatives
  • Must be available to work flexible weekend hours from May 24th – June 23rd, 2013 (approximately 12 - 18 hours per weekend) **dates are subject to change

Working Conditions

  • The Product Specialist will be responsible for their own transportation
  • LG branded clothing will be provided to be worn during work hours, and must be kept clean

  • Access to computer with internet connection for required reporting
