The Board of Management of the Wychwood Heights Business Improvement Area (BIA), located on St. Clair Ave West between Christie Street and Bathurst Street is looking for a part-time coordinator (20 hours per week) to provide administrative support, customer service and general assistance to the BIA. The individual must be a self-starter and possess strong organizational skills to ensure that priorities are assigned to projects and activities.

Duties of the BIA Coordinator:

Reporting to the Board of Management of the Wychwood Heights Improvement Area, the Coordinator’s responsibilities include the following:
 Schedule monthly meetings and prepare agendas with the Board Chair
 Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on issues as assigned
 Prepare, produce and distribute 2 newsletters per year
 Maintain the BIA’s website and database
 Frequent communication with the BIA members through regular site visits to assist with problems and issues as well as obtaining feedback on BIA services
 Prepare press releases and other media releases
 Act as a liaison with non BIA members such as city officials, economic development office, community groups and agencies
 Streetscape to implement any area improvements
 Assist in the preparation of the Operations and Capital budgets
 Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statement and bank account reconciliation
 Arrange all aspects of the Annual General Meeting, including choice of venue, invitations, food, minute taking and other pertinent documentation
 Organize all aspects of 2 Hallmark events, annually
 Ensure that all the public areas are kept clean and free of garbage and illegal dumping by reporting problems to appropriate City departments
 Additional duties assigned by the Board of Management

 College Diploma or University Degree
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to multi-task
 Highly organized and detail oriented
 Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
 Must be familiar with all aspects of Social Media
