Informative and productive place with friendly and learned staff members.
Intern (Former Employee), Lahore, PakistanMarch 3, 2014
Pros: friendly enviroment
Cons: crowded rooms
Having done an internship at WWF, I learnt how important it is to give some thought to the animals both on land and sea. I saw how some of animals have gone extinct or are on the verge of going so without being noticed by a large group but only few concerned teams

Productive and nice working environment as everyone works as a team
Fisheries and Community Officer Program (Current Employee), Cabo Delgado province, MozambiqueMay 10, 2013
Pros: nice working environment
Cons: limited benefits in terms of salary
- A typical day in this company is working in a very nice working environment objectively by trying to achieve the overall of all planed activities. Everyone fills like one, good team work, working at a team spirit.
The hardest part of the job is when it comes to delivery results as required on the reports to partners, donors, and evaluation team progress – more... reports to external auditors.

The most enjoyable part of the job is when everybody fills that has achieved the goals according to the objectives of the organization or company. – less

Serious and hard working place
Project Coordinator (Former Employee), HarareMarch 21, 2013
Pros: good conservation organization with a large international network
Cons: no clearly defined career pathway
- Learned a lot with respect to strategic, project development, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, proposal development, fund raising, supervising consultants, community participation, scientific approaches, donor and governmental relations.
- Good relations with co-workers.
- The hardest part of the job was that if you are on projects, – more... your job is secured if funds are available, hence one had to work as well as to fundraise.
- The most enjoyable part was working independently as long as one adheres to rules and produce good results. – less

Great place to work and learn about environmental issues
Facilities Manager (Current Employee), GodalmingMarch 12, 2013
Pros: learn at lot about the environment and it inspires you to change your way of life
Cons: some colleagues are not supportive in certain projects that are planned
I have gained and learned alot since I have been with WWF. Not just about my job but the whole environment impact. What I have learnt I have introduced into my home life. For example energy efficent light bulbs, A+ Rating elecctrical appliances, water meter installed, a hippo bag in the toilet cistern, also installed FSC wooded flooring throught my – more... property.

A typical day for me is to provide a first class service for my colleagues to carry on the good work of all environmental issues in the world. I have a team of 5 I manage. I am responsible for the management of the M+E, Mailroom, Archiving, all cleaning, security, Space planning, office alterations, support for other offices within the UK, all Health and Safety for all sites, Fleet cars, couriers, stationery supplys, ground maintenance and all printing.

It is a great place to work for, they do look after there employees, with good benefits and a very flexiable company.

Some of my colleagues are not very helpful when you arrange certain items, for example de-clutter day their are a few that won't support you, and Archiving clear outs sometimes you don't get the support from my colleagues which can be annoying. – less

Dialogatore no-profit (Former Employee), Padova, VenetoDecember 31, 2012
Cons: pagamento in ritardo
– more...

– less
