high stress, high turnover, statistics driven
Adjudicator (Current Employee), Edmonton AlbertaOctober 27, 2013
Pros: salary and benefits are the best you will ever find
Cons: long hours with no overtime pay, high stress
-very high caseloads leading to staff working hours of unpaid overtime to meet statistic expectations which are a requirement of maintaining a good performance review.

-high stress due to high caseloads and not enough paid time in which to do the work.

-high turnover of case managers

-lots of terminations of employment

-hugely bureaucratic organization – more... focused more on meeting stats and less on management of disability.

-does not value long term employees

-supervisors overworked with projects that take them away from the demands of the team they have been assigned to supervise

suggestions to upper management

-abide by the sames rules you have put in place for everyone else
-connect with what is really happening on the floor – less

Management was great.
Co- workers were good.
Hardest part of the job would be looking at tapes to see where you made an error.
enjoyed this type of work and the pay was great.
