Worker (Former Employee) – Moncton, NB – 11 September 2017
Manager would go out of her way to publicly humiliate you, gossip behind your back and over all just treat everyone like garbage. Sitting in a van with 10 other people sometimes for 5 hours with no stops, no breaks and God forbid you ask for help.. If you get caught asking for assistance you will be punished without being spoken to, just taken off the schedule for acouple weeks.
Inventory Associate (Current Employee) – Peterborough, ON – 10 September 2017
A typical day consists of travelling to the store and counting the inventory till the job is complete. There is always a scheduled start time, but you finish when the job is done, you never know exactly how long it will be. The hours are very sporadic, it is hard to get full time hours. A couple benefits are that you have a chance to get paid to travel, and they are flexible for students or people with other jobs.
Inventory Clerk (Former Employee) – Greater Sudbury, ON – 29 August 2017
Every shift worked was enjoyable with fun co-workers and safe environment. I learned about inventory taking for various stores. Some days I would be up getting ready for work at the earliest 3am to go travel to another city either overnight or the day, but overall it's a great company to work for, great coworkers, and great managers/supervisors.
Stock Clerk (Former Employee) – Regina, SK – 11 August 2017
My title at the company was a stock clerk and everything was as expected. The times were extremely adjustable and the work was tiring and rewarding. We worked as a team and depended on each other. The supervisors were nice and encouraging to newer employees.
Inventory Counter (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 10 August 2017
The work itself is easy (just counting and re-counting inventory with a scanner), just tedious and mind-numbing. Hours can be long or short depending on where you work, you're not given advance notice, and you could have gaps of days or weeks between shifts. Pay wasn't bad for the work that needed to be done. Co-workers and management were alright where I worked.
Overall, would recommend it if you're in a financial bind, can't find other work or are looking for a very simple first job.
Inventory Clerk (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 18 June 2017
Working at WIS International was an amazing first career for me and taught me so much about the job environment and what to expect from future careers. The people and managers made my first experience very nice and made me feel comfortable with my self.
