This role is very demanding and a high sales target environment. the work culture is great but there are many areas for advancement or growth. I would recommend to build experience in the sales industry.

Fun environment that went downhill
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Windsor, ON3 January 2018
Wind (now Freedom) was actually a great place to work...until they brought in an actual HR rep. After being threatened with refusal should an employee apply for stress leave, the entire mood went downhill. They then fired a bunch of really good agents for superfluous reasons, like not meeting targets despite being one of the top agents in their department.

Can be overwhelming and unsupported
Store Manager (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON28 October 2017
Lack of direct support for managers in the stores, and ever increasing budgets. Also, company is often dishonest in its ad campaigns, and upper management plays favourites a lot which stifles growth.

Key Holder/Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  London, ON21 September 2017
Great pay back then over 17 per hour. Commission alone I took home 500-1200 more per paycheck, ESPECIALLY holiday time. IF you know some tech savvy information on cell phones or feel like phones are neat or even interesting, then apply to a cellular service.
Pros
cash
Cons
slow days

Team Lead Fairview Park mall April (Current Employee) –  Kitchener, ON26 May 2017
Wind mobile is in large demand and the location I worked at was very fast paced. There were many sales and customer inquiries. At times it was difficult to service everyone's expectations. Wind mobile is at a disadvantage when it comes to network quality and thus has a lot of customer complaints. The warranty process wasnt appreciated by our customers as it was long and required a deposit. Management did not support you in your duties and communication was poor. Company initiatives frequently fell by the wayside and consistency was not a strength. The best part of the job is your team that you work with and the ability to be part of a quickly growing company. The worst part was unorganized management and growing pains in the company which affected your ability to do your job.
Pros
Commission and free mobile plan
Cons
Bad management, bad communication, unrealistic expectations
