Responsibilities: Wildlife Resource Consulting Services MB Inc. is seeking a Wildlife Biologist to join our team in Winnipeg. We provide environmental assessment services specializing in wildlife to clients in resource use industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of high quality environmental assessment, monitoring and field reports, design field programs, and analyze data. The member will work closely with and provide support to other team members in the office. There is opportunity for occasional fieldwork.
Minimum Qualifications (Education): Masters of Science Degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience: Experience with analysis and reporting of environmental data, extensive knowledge and understanding of wildlife and habitat requirements, knowledge and understanding of ecosystems in Manitoba, excellent communication and organizational skills, demonstrated technical writing skills including peer reviewed publications, experience with GIS software, experienced in producing environmental assessment reports, liaising with clients, and experience using Microsoft excel and word.
