Pain clinic is looking for the RPN who will be responsible for obtaining vital signs, monitoring patients during injections, administering IV (under physician supervision), intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, performing phlebotomy and other specimen collection/handling, providing direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of the physician, documenting procedures, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and performing procedures within their scope of practice.
Shifts are from 6.30am to 4.30pm or from 9.00am to 6.00pm
Skills & Qualifications:
Current Registered Practical Nursing Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Current BLS/CPR certificate
Demonstrates proficiency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize, clearly communicate instructions, and relay information to personnel, patients and families
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently with efficiency and accuracy
Self-starter and promotes a positive attitude
Experience required: 2 years minimum
