As Director of Care for the Penticton location, you will play an integral role in the culture that values best practice, seeks continuous improvements and feels passionate about enhancing geriatric care and outcomes. As a representative of the company vision, the Director of Care will balance the needs for site leadership & innovation with the role to be collectively achieving consistent services and better results across the group.
As a member of the site leadership team, the Director of Care works closely with the General Manager to establish milestones and deliver results. You are excited to leverage your management & clinical skill set to establish a top performing care team by implementing best practices and improvement initiatives. You will work with your colleagues at other sites to ensure standardized services on the journey towards organizational excellence for Buron. Your team of care workers will be focused on delivering professional nursing and personal care services and you will promote an interdisciplinary approach to achieving quality outcomes.
As the successful candidate, you have been in supervisory roles within the area of gerontology and can bring your experience of delivering care and service to this complex care population. You are a committed and well respected leader with open communication and a collaborative style. You are known for being proactive, a great mentor to your teams and someone who thrives on the delivery of excellence in all that you do. Most importantly, you understand the senior care world and the importance of attention to detail in ensuring proper care of patients.
