Production Supervisor – New Westminster Location

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be providing the plant with a high level of safety while leading production with 24/7/365 environment that ensures company objectives are supported. Production goals are efficiently and effectively meet and to ensure timely delivery of customer orders, whilst adhering to quality, safety and food safety standards and guidelines. Duties would include; however, not limited to:

1.Promote a safe, clean and healthy environment for all people (housekeeping to 3rd Party Audit Standards) and conduct regular safety/production meetings.
2.Ensure all employees understand and comply with the demands of critical systems (3rd Party Audits).
3.Responsible for scheduling all equipment/production orders.
4.Responsible to schedule and meet staffing requirements for all shifts/holiday coverage and overtime.
5.Supervision and ability to direct a diverse workforce up to 100 people.
6.Approval of hourly payroll.
7.Coordination as needed between Accounting, Sales, Customer Service and HR.
8.Ability to generate, maintains, and responds to KPIs.


1.Be on call 24/7/365
2.Possess excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
3.Proficient with Micro Soft Office products (excel, word, outlook).
4.Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
5.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
6.Must have a combination of education and experience in Expanded Polyethylene or related fields (plastic extrusion).
7.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 2-3 years’ experience in direct supervision in a manufacturing environment.
8.Proven abilities in safety, quality and productivity.
9.3 years of experience with printing and converting which includes an understanding of Flexo printing.
10.Cross border travel may be required.
