West Coast Wild Foods Ltd is a growing local wild foods company based in Richmond. We are looking for a new addition to our team. This new person will have a versatile job profile ranging from basic bookkeeping and data input to website maintenance and social media marketing as well as packing online sales orders. The position is part time beginning in March and working into full time in August through December. Starting rate is $12.50/hour

Office Administration: duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, data entry and faxing. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills
Basic bookkeeping with Quickbooks : payroll, accounts receivable/payable, monthly reconciliation and financial reporting. Tracking expenses, inventory and income for wholesale, retail and web store.
Website and online store content management: updating product quantities, prices, photos, blog and feature/seasonal product page, managing online marketing and outreach campaigns.
Manage Social Media marketing campaigns: day-to-day activities including develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and cultivate leads and sales.
Facilitate and coordinate various tasks for the owners- coordinating internal and external logistics with shipping providers, vendors and customers for incoming and outgoing time sensitive orders for the wholesale, retail and web store
Have multi-media marketing experience and displays knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Maintains excellent writing and language skills
Basic Administrative experience an asset (word processing, creating extensive spreadsheets, letter writing, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, creating and maintaining filing systems, arranging and organizing shipping/receiving).
Have experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and Website Management Software (currently we are using Shopify)
Completed or in the process of completing post-secondary certification/degree, preferably in marketing or business, but not limited too. It is a strong asset to possess knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing
Be able to work well with a small team and have an open schedule / be willing to work weekends
Must have a valid driver’s license and car
Must be able to handle a variety of diverse tasks and maintain a professional demeanor
Have a desire to work in a new, young, upbeat and creative environment
