Weldco-Beales Mfg. Ltd. (WBM) manufactures heavy equipment attachments and truck mounted cranes for construction, forestry, mining and resource industries throughout Canada, U.S.A. and internationally. Our manufacturing facility located in Edmonton, Alberta is currently recruiting a Payroll Administrator.

To ensure continued success and growth of the payroll program key accountabilities for the Payroll Administrator include:

 maintaining accuracy of all employee records and processing of bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees
 Payroll Calculations and Year-End Processing
 Preparing pay on a bi-weekly basis
 Preparing Records of Employment (ROE)
 Calculating and preparing termination pay
 Administering benefit entitlements in accordance to benefits plan documents
 Completing, verifying, and processing forms/documents for benefits such as pension plans, leaves, RRSPs and employment/medical insurance
 Providing information to employees on payroll and benefits matters
Education:
 Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation is preferred
Experience:
 A minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
Skills:
 Basic accounting and mathematic skills to perform accurate calculations
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
 Excellent organizational and time management skills
 Strong interpersonal skills to relate to all staff effectively when performing his or her work
 Multi-tasking skills to juggle a number of tasks at the same time
 Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
 Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
