Welch LLP is a dynamic organization with a friendly work atmosphere. As a Bookkeeper you will work closely with our clients in understanding their needs, collecting and interpreting data and working to provide sound solutions.
You will be challenged with handling a variety of bookkeeping tasks including; banking services, cash management, preparation of cash receipts and cash disbursement summaries, preparation of financial statements, completion and filing of government forms, payroll and payroll reporting for clients of the Ottawa office of Welch. The ideal individual for this role will be someone who can effectively plan and organize and who has an aptitude for developing and maintaining good relationships with clients and staff. You must be able to handle a variety of responsibilities in a professional manner, working on multiple assignments with a high degree of autonomy over your work.
Due to the challenging nature of the work the successful candidate will possess at a minimum education at the community college level in Business Accounting plus three years of experience in a full cycle bookkeeping role including payroll and payroll reporting with working knowledge of accounting software such as AccPac, Simply Accounting and or QuickBooks.
