In our Fort St-John Oil & Gas Service Centre, we are looking to add an additional resource, a Senior Outside Technical Sales Representative.
You will be contacting assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell the Company’s full range of services within a designated geographic territory across all industry sectors. You will have to focus on personal sales targets and profit contributions, new business development and troubleshooting on problem or key markets. You may independently prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transaction. You may also participate in special project/programs as assigned.
The above positions will appeal to an experienced Outside Technical Service Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in the industrial repair or service industry.
A self–starter possessing a strong technical background along with solid industrial service sales experience to interact with our client base and search out new business to grow the territory is required. A certificate from a Technical Trade School preferably in Millwright, Machining, Heavy Duty Mechanic or a certificate/degree in Mechanical Engineering with significant experience in the repair of mechanical rotating equipment.
The candidate of choice must be an industry sales leader, mechanically inclined, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in the repair of mechanical rotating equipment and extensive experience in the repair of hydro electric components. The incumbent will preferably possess a technical school certification with a proved sales record in the industrial sector. Excellent communication and computer skills are mandatory.
