The Wedgewood Hotel & Spa is currently looking for a full-time Guest Service Agent.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a Front Desk Agent/Guest Service Agent in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
The Guest Service Agent will assist guests with arrival and departure to and from the hotel. Other duties include Concierge duties, taking hotel reservations, answering hotel telephone calls and various other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of the greater Vancouver area and make suggestions about activities for guests.
The candidate will report to the Front Office Manager of the hotel and will maintain a high level of service and professionalism conducive to a five star hotel.
Post secondary education in hospitality or tourism is an asset but not a requirement.
The candidate will be able to multi-task, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
The candidate must be computer literate and should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and have previously worked with a Property Management System.
Multi-lingual is an asset but, not a requirement.
