We are looking for an individual who has a passion for technology and the skills to be our System Administrator.
We are a Web Development company in Vancouver, BC and are looking for someone who has the following skills:

The Essentials required:
- Experience in Linux system administration
- Experience with common Linux and/or Unix Systems administration tools
- Experience with LAMP systems (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP)

- Experience administering database driven applications with Working knowledge of SQL database services (MySQL, MS SQL Server)
- Experience administering servers with various specific functions: such as dedicated Mail or Web or Database or DNS servers

- Experience supporting many in production (Live) applications and servers
- Understanding of middleware, proxies and application integration
- Must be able to troubleshoot a problem quickly, the document the solution
- Working knowledge of backup and restore solutions in a Linux environment
- Ability to configure and install software packages from source code and through the use of Linux package managers

- Must understand networking, routing, TCP/IP, DNS /DHCP, SAMBA, Firwealls, Switches and Routers
- Working knowledge of common scripting languages (PHP, Perl, Shell)
