Completion of PSW, HCA or EA coarse/diploma
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Experience:
2-3 years

Languages:
Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting:
Live-In home care, 3 or 4 days for 4 weeks, Autism client
Live-In home care, Thurs 0800- Mon 0900 1 or 2 weeks monthly

Specific Skills:
Provide personal care, cue medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, monitor Glucose readings, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, housekeeping, preparing healthy meals as client is a diabetic

Essential Skills:
Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning
