The Waterloo Region District School Board provides quality educational programs and services to approimately 60,000 students. The Board is one of the largest employers in the Waterloo Region with approximately 5,000 employees, working together to operate 113 elementary and secondary schools, as well as numerous other educational facilities.
Our vision, engaged learners, engaged communities, is supported by three priorities - learning, caring, and connecting. We strive to deliver an exemplary public education through diverse and inclusive environments that engage learners in: developing their potential and pursuing their aspirations; being participating community members.
The Waterloo Region District School Board, like every public school board in Ontario, is governed by a board of trustees who are elected by public school taxpayers during municipal elections. – less–ZoomInfo
