Pros: teams are given great resources to succeed
Cons: some managers are given a lot of autonomy before they are ready
Watco is a great place to work and has a great base for training and learning how to effectively manage people (stay positive and treat people well). There is a management process criteria that teaches supervisors and managers how to be better managers and why the "gotcha" mentality does not work long term in business. Watco tries to attract the best people and sometimes hires someone because of their potential which even gives someone without a lot of experience a chance at a long term career.
