Nice enviorment where customers are priority
Deli Clerk / Customer Service Associate (Current Employee) –  Buda, TX22 September 2017
I close most of the time. I have learned to adapt to a schedule that is not always the same. Hardest part of my job is closing by myself and the best part of my job is my customers. I have always done well with time management.

Maintenance/Lead Maintenance (Former Employee) –  Saint John, NB22 September 2017
Provided that you're in a supervisory role there are no shortage of hours, but little to no regard for the employee. It's all about the bottom line. Standard retail experience,

Walmart gets really busy during holidays and weekend. Sometimes fast pasted depending on the position you have. You have the possibility to work many hours if you are willing to pick up extra shifts.

Photolab Technician (Former Employee) –  Carbonear, NL21 September 2017
A good place to work, nothing wrong with the people and management is very understandable. It's a great place to work but I just need to broaden my spectrum.

Customer service / Cashier
Customer Service/Cashier (Former Employee) –  Pembroke, ON20 September 2017
It just wasn't a good fit for me, I don't think I will strive best as a cashier. Lots of hours if needed, part time working full time hours with no benefits.

Customer Service/Cashier (Former Employee) –  Oshawa, ON19 September 2017
Enjoyable experience, very fast pace environment over the Christmas season. Workers enjoy the benefits of seeing all new merchandise and fashions first.

bounces off like rubber and sticks to you...
Cashier (Former Employee) –  Calgary, AB19 September 2017
Fill and stock surrounding cashier aisles.
Greet each customer with a friendly smile and pleasant manner.
Check out customers, and get assistance when required with heavy large products.
Product count at each register 500 products an hr is what you strive for.
Kept an look out for theft prevention, and fraudulent money, credit card and debit cards.
Multi-culture environment.
Most enjoyable part of the day is getting a break in the rush of customers and filling around the cashier.
Hardest part of the job is keeping a thick skin from the verbal abuse, and sometimes physical abuse.
Pros
free paid breaks.
Cons
Irate customers who throw products at you and or the use of profanity.

not a great place
Department Manager (Current Employee) –  London, ON19 September 2017
This use to be a good place to work at..but not anymore. A lot more work has been piled on, with no more pay, taking on roles to reduce the amount of work Asst. managers do, They don't do much as is anyways. People who work hard and do a good, always great crapped on, while nothing happens to the lazy workers
