A workplace that gave you a living with good hours to balance your life.
Janitorial/Wafer Line Cutter/General Labour (Former Employee), Burlington, ON – June 5, 2012
Pros: 40 hour weeks with the weekends off
Cons: the coffee breaks were short
A typical day at work would be getting a list of jobs that you have to do and getting it done - anywhere from cleaning the scrappers to cleaning the walls in the oven and cooling halls to driving the zamboni.
I learned that every job no matter what it is - is important in maintaining the production of the company.
I got along with management - they were helpful when I had questions to ask, they were also understanding.
My co-workers were great to work with everyday.
The hardest part of the job was cleaning the sewage - the smell was a challenge to deal with at times.
The most enjoyable part of the job was cleaning floors - mopping or driving the zamboni
